With the climate changing helping people understand how to reduce their environmental impact has become the number one global priority. Leading the way in England and Wales, the Environment Agency is unveiling an exciting and innovative campaign to celebrate World Environment Day on 5th June. 
[company name] will be in the thick of the celebrations. We'll be challenging everyone to 'ask yourself' what you're currently doing to tackle climate change, what more you could be doing and what is stopping you at the moment.

Taking part is simple, quick and anonymous, [follow the link / log on to www.mendoftheworld.org ] where you'll be asked the three questions.  We're even interested if you're not doing anything, or don't know what to do. 
Your responses will be used in the biggest and most ambitious survey ever to find out what individuals are doing to tackle climate change and what is stopping them doing more. 

Last year 58,000 people in England and Wales made over 408,000 promises to change the way they do things for World Environment Day. If all 58,000 stick to these lifestyle changes in one year we'll save: 
* 613 Olympic sized swimming pools full of water 
* 9.5 million plastic carrier bags
* carbon dioxide equivalent to driving 6,327 times round the Earth 
* 298 tonnes of batteries 
* and given 101 working years' worth of time to a green community project. 

Most importantly for [company name] in 2007  we will be able to see how we're doing and focus our attention on the areas where we can make the biggest differences.
